Recap of the 54th Annual Greater American Coin Fair

The St. Louis Numismatic Association’s 54th Annual Greater America Coin Fair that was held at the Airport Hilton in St. Louis February 9th, 10th, and 11th was another successful show. The weather was typical for the St. Louis area with temperature swings from the low thirties to near record setting highs in the sixties. The 110 table bourse floor was sold out and an additional 50 plus dealers roamed the floor after early bird registration. Although the threat of snow or ice over the weekend may have kept a few browsers away, the room was filled with nearly 1000 buying and selling collectors during the three day event.

Dealers from across the country were present with a great selection of both raw and certified coins and currency available for sale both for the advanced collector as well as the novice.

This winter show; sponsored by the St. Louis Numismatic Association each February, again and again proves to be one of the most successful coin shows in the area. If you were unable to attend this year’s show, please make plans to attend next year’s as it promises to be another great event.
